A32    2 CH. POWER AMPLIFIER

The A32 is a high power fully balanced dual mono power amplifier to comply with the highest demands in stereo sound reproduction.

Here the proven and award winning balanced topology has been combined with only the finest components, the shortest most efficient signal paths and an enormous power supply.

Conservatively rated at 400 watts into 4 ohms, the A32 has the ability to drive the most difficult loads while managing to present an unbounded soundstage with effortless ease.

The A32 is a high power fully balanced power amplifier, conservatively rated to be capable of delivering 2 x 250watts into an 8 ohms load and 2 x 400watts into a 4 ohms load.

It is equipped with a fully balanced signal transmission, keeping the signal as free as possible from interference.

Both balanced and unbalanced inputs are provided, as well twin speaker terminals for biwiring, a trigger input and RS232C inputs. If the unbalanced inputs are used the A32 internally converts the signal to balanced, to take full advantage of it’s balanced design.

One massive 2.000VA toroidal transformer features four separate windings, two for each (L&R) channel. Yet another separate transformer is powering the digital functions. This ensures that no digital disturbance can be transferred into the analogue part of the amplifier.

A practical feature is the choice between two standby modes. The first requires no warm up time, as only the speaker relay and bias is switched of.  The second standby-mode turns off all of the analogue power supplies. Therefore this mode should be used only when the amplifier remains inactive for a longer period of time, or when the owner wants to save mains-power.

A 30.2

The A30.2 is a two-channel, dual-mono, power amplifier designed as the ideal output stage in a home theatre or hi-fi system.

Dual-mono design means that each channel has its own identical, dedicated mono amplifier incorporating a heavy-duty custom-made toroidal transformer and low noise regulated power supplies. Each uses four ultra-fast bi-polar output devices in a push-pull configuration to preserve perfectly the fidelity of musical transients and minimize distortion.

The amplifier is capable of delivering 120watts into an 8 ohms load and incorporates full speaker protection against faulty input signals.

The A30.2 is robustly constructed from 2 mm steel. Heavy-duty gold-plated loudspeaker terminals and gold-plated RCA and XLR inputs are further evidence of Primare's dedication to excellence.

We suggest this component to be partnered with the A30.3 or A30.5 to provide five or seven identical channels of pristine amplification for multi-channel music and movie applications.

For even higher fidelity, the A30.2 can be easily converted to balanced mono operation.

A 30.5

The A30.5 is a five channel modular power amplifier, designed as an ideal output stage in a home theatre.

It incorporates five discrete compact mono channels, each with a separate heavy duty toroidal transformer, a separate power supply and ultra-fast bipolar output devices in a push-pull configuration.

The input stage of each channel consists of a single FET transistor and the output of four Toshiba power transistors.

The heat sinks are massive to keep the temperature at moderate level even at the most difficult working conditions.

A30.5's intelligent stand-by switch can be controlled from the Primare processors and the system remote control.

The A30.5 is simply a glorious piece of Hi-Fi, configured for today's five channel requirements.
